We were expecting significant snowfall last Wednesday. I guess fortunately and unfortunately that snowfall never came to quite the extent predicted, but because we didn’t know that until it was all said and done (The forecast remained throughout the day, with the promise that the heaviest snow was soon to come!), we all enjoyed a day at home. Here’s some of what this snow day was for us.
A snow day means …
… lining up our cars just right.
… creeping through the 4 inches or so we had by 9:30 am.
… filling up our suitcase with jewelry, purses and toys and playing in the bathroom? Yep!
… a quick nap with Dada.
… a little rest for Huckleberry, who was clearly unhappy that we were interrupting his peaceful day.
… eating homemade ranch pretzels with a spoon, because the extra seasoning is just too tasty to leave behind.
… chillin’ in the swing.
… chowing down on Sophie.
… playing with Rosie the train.
… stealing guacamole that she “doesn’t like.” Right.
… wearing Dada’s slippers!
… coffee. All. Day. Long.
… Dora magnets in MaMum’s slippers.
